The Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania are three small countries that have been overshadowed and often oppressed by their larger, more powerful neighbors. Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, however, their own unique identities, and warm and fascinating cultures have reasserted themselves. Proud of their heritage, yet now aligned even further westward by their recent membership in the European Union, these three gems of Northern Europe beckon us to come explore the Baltic States!
