Heritage of Newfoundland is part 2 of the Maritimes & Eastern Canada walking program offered separately or in conjunction with Québec & the Maritimes. The program includes three flights, beginning in and returning to the Halifax International Airport. We’ve added a day on the western shore of Newfoundland to explore some of Canada’s most remote scenery and native heritage. After visiting the Viking ruins most commonly linked to Leif Eriksson, we’ll fly to St. John’s, North America’s oldest and easternmost city in Canada’s newest province.
This Adventure may be combined with Quebec & the Maritimes, 13 more days of walks and sightseeing through French Canadian Quebec and the pastoral and coastal scenery of the Maritime Provinces. Travelers participating in both Québec & the Maritimes and Heritage of Newfoundland will receive a $100 rebate off the combined tour price.
