Join walkers from around the USA in 2009 for a celebration of walking and volkssport at the 16th Biennial Convention of the American Volkssport Association, taking place in Richardson, Texas. Our fun-filled walkathon experience includes walks in the 7 states of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Walkers will also pick up 5 capital walks in Oklahoma City (OK), Little Rock (AR), Jackson (MS), Baton Rouge (LA), and Austin (TX)! Throw in cultural and historical excursions galore, a plethora of optional activities (including your pick of a selection of Branson, MO shows and a visit to the pre-eminent Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in Texas), along with plenty of opportunities to mingle with old walking pals, and you have the makings of another great Adventure!
