How do I vote?

WALKING IRELAND

There are two levels of voting:

Level 1: Contact us with your top four choices in the order of your preference. Votes can be submitted 4 different ways:

• Mail (by printing out the Response Form below) – send to Walking Adventures International, PO Box 871000, Vancouver WA, 98687
• Phone – 1.800.779.0353
• Email – fun@walkingadventures.com
• Interactive Response Form below – enter your selections and click "submit"

Level 2: Include a refundable $50 Early Bird reservation deposit (see below) with your vote. This signals a serious level of interest in the Adventure and triples the weight of your vote. Early Bird deposits can either be submitted over the phone or by mailing in the Response Form with a check.

The Early Bird always gets the Adventure!

WALKING ICELAND

In response to enthusiastic requests about future Adventures, we offer the opportunity to "pre-register" for travel programs before the brochure (including price, complete routing, dates, etc.) becomes available. We call these pre-registrations "Early Bird" reservation deposits. Because many Adventures fill up before we can prepare the brochure, we strongly recommend reserving space with a $50 Early Bird deposit. Early Bird reservation deposits are fully refundable, hold space on the Adventure until you’ve had time to review the upcoming brochure, triple the weight of your Survey vote, and are accepted in the order received – first-come-first-serve!

What’s included in the Adventure price?

WALKING VIETNAM & CAMBODIA - NEW!

• Walks: Walks are normally between 3 and 6 miles long. They range in difficulty but are more accurately characterized as walks (easier) than hikes (more challenging). Participation is not mandatory, but walks form the core of our programs.
• Airfare: Airfare is only included when the in-country itinerary requires flying from point-to-point.
• All Land and Sea Transportation: Motorcoaches, ferries, trains, etc., are all included.
• Accommodations: Superior tourist-class (3-star) or better hotels are our standard. In all cases, bathroom facilities are en suite.
• Meals: Breakfast is included; most dinners are included for international travel.
• Excursions: All excursions described in the Adventure itinerary are included unless specifically denoted as optional.
• Walking Adventures Guides: A WAI program leader (usually a 2-person team) will be with you from start to finish and will be responsible for all group functions and logistics. International programs are enhanced by the services of national guides (sometimes driver-guides) who work in partnership with the WAI team. We often use local "step-on guides" where appropriate.

NOTE: Information listed in the 2009 Adventure Survey (Dates, Prices, etc.) is provided to give travelers an idea of the itineraries available in 2009 and is subject to change pending final agreements with service providers.
